How to Make Samson Bacon Burgers

The 75th Sturgis Rally is coming up soon and you’re going to want to have some epic Rally Food recipes up your sleeve to impress the ladies. We here at Samson have got you covered.

Step 1. Make 3/4 pound meatballs and then press can through the middle. Shape burger meat around can up about half way, then wrap bacon around the burgers. Remove can.

Step 2. Fill meat pockets with whatever you want. I filled with caramelized onions, garlic, ham and roast beef. Topped with cheese curds.

Step 3. Pre-heat oven to 300 degrees, place meat pockets in a proper sized pan. This is your chance to put any last minute toppings. I decided to add shredded cheese and cheese wiz hats (because why not).

Step 4. Cook in oven at 300 degrees for about one hour. Depending on the thickness of your bacon you may want to cook longer. While cooking, make yourself some mashed potatoes to set the bacon burgers on top of when they are done. I took all the grease from the burgers and bacon and mixed with potatoes for extra bacon bang.

Step 5. Admire your masterpiece.
